What We Do With the Details You Send
When you send an enquiry we collect what is needed to quote a busbar and to reply: your contact details, the technical conditions, and any drawing you attach. We use them to answer you. We do not sell them, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
What is collected
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Company, name, email, country | To reply, and to know which market rules apply |
| Current, temperature, installation, withstand voltage | To size and quote the part |
| Drawing or 3D model | To review manufacturability before quoting |
| Quantity and target date | To confirm tooling and lead time |
| Your message | Whatever else you tell us |
The enquiry form also records the date and the page it was sent from. Our host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Your drawings
A drawing is the most sensitive thing you will send us, so it gets its own paragraph. Drawings and models are used to review, quote and manufacture your part. They are not shown to other customers, not used in our marketing, and not published on this site. Where a photograph of a part appears on this site, it is either our own sample or supplied with the owner’s permission, and no customer drawing or part number appears in it.
If your program needs a signed non-disclosure agreement before you send anything, say so and we will sign one first.
Who sees it
Our sales and engineering staff, and nobody else outside the company except the service providers that make the site and email work: the web host, the email provider, and the form plugin that stores submissions on our own site. Where a test has to go to a third-party laboratory, only the part and the specification go with it, not your contact details.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that lead to an order are kept with the order records for as long as the business relationship and any warranty obligation lasts. Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted after two years. Uploaded drawings are deleted with the enquiry.
Cookies
This site sets the cookies WordPress needs to function. If web analytics is running, it also sets analytics cookies, which you can block in your browser without breaking the site. We do not run advertising trackers.
Asking us to delete it
Write to us and we will delete what we hold, unless a legal or contractual obligation requires us to keep a record. You can also ask what we hold, or ask us to correct it. Requests go through the contact details for data requests or by phone on +86 757 2583 7540, and we answer within 30 days.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes materially, the date below changes with it. How we handle errors in the technical content on this site is separate, and is covered on the corrections page.
